Besides cool maxi dresses and cute shorts, the jumpsuit or playsuit is a trendy must-have for summer. Reminiscent of the 70s disco era, the jumpsuit is a one-piece garment that switches easily between chic casual and red carpet sparkle.
Jumpsuits were inspired by skydivers’ and paratroopers’ utilitarian attire and have since evolved into a variety of designs and styles.
Choose from long, flowing leg flare to cuffed bottom jumpsuits or try the cheeky shorts playsuit. Go for off the shoulder or bandeau jumpsuit styles in floral print, animal print or solid bold colours.
Fabrics that work well include soft chiffons and cotton and even denim for daytime styling. A glamorous evening out, however, will call for luxurious silks and satins for some shimmer and shine.

Dramatic bolds and neutral nudes are the latest in lip colour styling; think a glossy deep purple for high-shine glamour. This racy colour works well with subdued and soft colouring to the cheeks and eyelids.
