Your taste buds are in for a real treat this week! Not only is the LG Life Tastes Good Championships 2010 happening in the Sandton City Fountain Court from Friday 03 to Sunday 05 September, but there is also the India Food Week at the Sandton Sun Hotel that started yesterday (Monday 30 August) and runs until Sunday 05 September.
The India Show is the first of its kind to be staged in South Africa and is being hosted in the newly renovated San Restaurant at the Sandton Sun Hotel. Here you’ll have the opportunity to taste the best of Indian cuisine by some of India’s top chefs at the India Food Week.
Known for its exquisite spices, rich coffees and unique combinations of grains, breads and oils, Indian cuisine is a culinary tradition steeped in history and culture, offering a diverse menu of vegetables, meats, spicy grains, and aromatic drinks. Is your mouth watering yet?
The India Food Week is open to the public daily from 12h00 to 22h00 and will close at noon on Sunday 05 September.

Look of the Day
Sibusiso was spotted at Sandton City donning the sophisticated and refined urban look. He looks stylishly casual in a cream jersey, beige scarf, brown leather jacket, fitted jeans and dark brown shoes.
The "Refined Gentleman" is one of the key looks this season and Sibusiso is a prime example of this.
To get this look, go for leather jackets, trench coats, scarves, hats (we love fedoras, newsboy hats, ski caps and bowlers hats) and vests worn over button-down shirts. Try stick to neutral colours in your key pieces, but you can throw in a splash of colour in your accessories.
Versatility is the main essence of the look and it lets you go from the office, to the mall, to evening drinks and dinner in style and looking "the part".

Most Wanted
We love this season’s off-duty look. Call it chic combat or utility, the stores are awash on olive green and khaki for a very fashionable army.
We love Woolworths’ carefully edited selection of key items and the cuffed trousers and combat palette of their new summer must-haves had us running for the rails.
While you’re there hunting down your slub cotton teeshirts and casual trousers, don’t forget to check out their new collection of statement heels.
They are hot off the international catwalks and prices start at around R300, which is super fantastic in anyone’s book!
