The Big Four Concert
If you're a metal head then the thought of Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax performing on one stage is enough to get your knees wobbly.
Well unfortunately this isn't an announcement that they're performing in SA, but it is the next best thing. Sandton City Ster Kinekor will be screening The Big Four concert, which features all four internationally acclaimed bands, on 30 July and 1 August.
The Big Four was a groundbreaking concert that took place at the Sonisphere Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria on 22 June, where metalheads around the world got to watch Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax perform on one stage together, for one night only.
Now you'll have the opportunity to watch this concert in high definition digital quality at selected Ster Kinekor theatres, including Sandton City, on 30 July and 01 August 2010.
No other performance dates are lined up for this once-in-a-lifetime concert, which means that watching it at Ster-Kinekor cinemas will be the only opportunity to experience these four bands performing together.
The show is 3,5 hours in length and is definitely an audiovisual feast that no diehard metal fan can afford to miss!
Concert-goers will also stand to win an iconic Harley Davidson jacket. Please note that this show may contain strong language and material not suitable for younger viewers.
